Hello, and welcome to the completely re-designed and re-edited filmbodies.com site. This is the first of my sites to get new foundation, design, and branding.

The purpose of this site is to provide information about Nikon film SLRs, as well as news about the films they can use, plus anything else that comes up that might be relevant to Nikon film SLR use.

Changes

Not only is filmbodies.com now visually different, it's foundationally changed, as well.

• Built with Tailwind to be fully responsive and readable on any size screen
• Supports both dark and light modes (your OS controls this)
• All articles have been updated and re-edited, and images have been redone where possible
• Some new articles have been added, based upon recent requests
• Since you kept asking, I've put a small gallery of images into the site (not necessarily my best, but what was lying around and instantly available)
• Added a 404 page; over time, I'll put links on it to the most "not found" articles
• Capable of being updated faster and with minimal Internet access
• Should load faster

With all the changes come a few deletions, some temporary:

• I've removed most of the older news. Price changes for a film stock that were made years ago probably aren't of interest to you
• I've removed the Nikon scanner reviews for the time being because with all the OS and software changes, there's a lot of rework that needs to be done on them to make them current; however, note the new scanner article in the Learn section
• Likewise, a few of the other older articles haven't made it into the new site yet, as there are facts and information I need to check and update first
• All the advertising and most unseen tracking mechanisms have been removed
